Transilvania University of Brasov/Universitatea Transilvania din Brasov (UNITBV, www.unitbv.ro) is the largest comprehensive public university in the central region of Romania, founded in 1948, with 20.885 students and 732 full-time teaching staff. UNITBV is offering a wide range of study programs (98 bachelor programmes, 86 master programmes, and 18 PhD programmes) covering 43 domains of science in the major fields of engineering, social sciences, humanities, arts, medicine, mathematics and sports. UNITBV promotes internationalization (at home and abroad), having strong international links with centers of excellence throughout Europe and overseas for education and research. UNITBV’s academic and administrative staff are highly experienced in project management, stakeholder engagement, digital resource development, and interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring the successful implementation and sustainability of the proposed project.
Project Coordinator

Professor Angela Repanovici is a senior academic and research leader with over 25 years of experience in higher education, project management, and international collaboration. She holds dual PhDs—in Mechanical Engineering and Economic Sciences—and has coordinated 11 competitive research grants, including Erasmus+, TEMPUS, and PNII projects focused on digital literacy, information management, and educational innovation.
She has led and contributed to over 20 national and international projects, including:
• DECIDE – Services for Individuals with Disabilities (Erasmus+, 2018–2021)
• IPEDU – Intellectual Property Education for Lifelong Learning (Erasmus+, 2020–2022)
• DIGITOOLS – Enhancing E-Learning Solutions in Universities (Erasmus+, 2021–2022)
• INNO3D – 3D Printing Support for Innovative Citizens (Erasmus+, 2019–2022)
She is the author of 62 ISI-indexed journal articles, 32 ISI conference papers, and 4 books published by international publishing houses, including the monograph Marketing Strategies for Digital Repositories: Promotion and Visibility of Scientific Production through Open Access (LAMBERT Academic Publishing, Germany). Her work includes 17 books published nationally, 2 international book chapters, and 3 patent proposals, reflecting a deep commitment to open science, academic visibility, and digital transformation.
